If you live in the area of Lansing, Michigan, And this includes East Lansing, Okemos, Mason, Leslie, and any area around Lansing, and your computer isn't quite working the way you want it to, call or email me. I'll come look at it, if I can fix it, I will. If I can't, you owe me nothing. If I fix it, you owe me $25.00 per hour that I spent working on it. There is a 2 hour minimum charge, IF I successfully fix your system. That's a minimum charge of $50.00. After that, it's $25.00 per hour, with the smallest increment being 15 minutes increments, at $6.25. Any parts that you and I decide are necessary are extra, and not subject to the "No Charge" rule, unless I take the part with me when I leave.

The rates above are for repairing computers. If you want me to build one for you, it will cost you the parts necessary + $75.00. Because I don't keep the parts on hand, I either have to order them, you have to order them, or I have to pick them up. Basically, all I make on for putting a system together is $75.00.
If you want a web page designed, my base price is $25.00 for an index page and perhaps another page or two. Anything beyond that is negotiable, and you don't have to be local for a web page. As long as I get paid in U.S. Dollars, you can be in Taiwan for all I care. Also, if you want me to design and host your site, I'm sure we can work out a price that will make us both happy. (Believe me, I'm CHEAP when it comes to what I charge for my services.)
Just so you know, I have over 10 years experience working on computers at Underwriters Laboratories where I was an IS Technician. I've worked on many different models, Dell, ALR, AST, Digital, IBM, Compaq, Toshiba, as well as many uniquely built systems. I have to warn you that my experience is limited to PC compatible computers. I have very little experience with Macintosh types. I have worked on older Apple II+ systems, but I'd be real surprised if many of those are still working. I have also built or upgraded the last 6 computers that I have used at home.
